Ingredients

• 1 c butter,softened
• 2 c sugar,divided
• 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
• 4 lg eggs
• 4 c cake flour
• 4 tsp baking powder
• 1 1/4 c milk
• 1/2 c strawberry jam
