Spicy Shrimp and Bok Choy on Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup liquid honey
  • 3 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Asian style hot chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 16 large prawns
  • 4 baby bok choy, washed and coursely chopped
  • 1 medium garlic clove minced
  • 2 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 300 g bag fresh egg noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Bring a large pot of water to boil. Combine first four ingredients and set aside.

Place oil inlarge skillet or wok and set over medium hig heat. AdD prawns and stir fry two minutes. Transfer to a plate.

Ad bok choy, garlic and ginger to pan and stir fry one minute. Mix the cornstarch into honey mixture until smooth. Add the mixture to the pan and simmer. Return prawns to pan.

Cook noodles in boiling until tender one minute. Mound noodles on platter and top with shrimp mixture, sprinkle with green onions.

Chinese egg noodles are available in the produce department.
