POTATOES*****Gordon Ramsay Roast Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound mini potatoes (I used a mix of purple, white and red)
  • olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp (heaping) chili flakes (or cumin)
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric (or smoked paprika)
  • Maldon salt and freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

* Cut potatoes in half.

* Drop in cold salted water, bring to boil and cook for 6 minutes.

* Drain and set aside to cool slightly. Season with salt and pepper. Add chili flakes and tumeric. Drizzle olive oil over potatoes and lightly toss to completely coat. Set aside until ready to cook.

* Place potatoes flat side down on a parchment-lined baking tray and roast at 400 F for 40 minutes, tossing once or twice, if desired (not really necessary).
