Sausage Rolls - Marion's Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry (in freezer section of store)
  • 1 package of sausages (Schneiders, etc.)
  • Milk to brush rolls
  • veggie oil or Pam spray

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450.

Boil sausage in water to remove some fat
Drain and rinse in cold water

Thaw pastry according to package directions
Pastry comes in 2 squares

Roll each square out so that 6 sausage will fit on each sheet
When rolled out cut lengthwise down centre

Place 3 sausages on each side then slice between sausages to make 6 sausage rolls
Roll sausage in each square and seal shut with a little water

Using a knife make 2 slashes on each roll.
Brush with a little milk.

Cover cookie sheet with tin foil and grease with veggie oil or Pam and place sausage rolls on sheet.

Bake at 450 until golden brown.

These freeze well.
