Scallops in Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 10 scallops
  • 4 TBSP butter, divided
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 TBSP parsley
  • 1 jar alfredo sauce
  • Fettucine noodles, cooked

Step 1

1. Prepare noodles according to package directions.
2. Mix together in a small bowl salt and sugar.
3. Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a skillet. While butter is melting, sprinkle half of sugar/salt mixture on one side of scallops.
4. When butter is melted, add scallops, seasoned-side down. Allow to cook for 3-4 minutes, until lightly browned. Gently turn scallops over. Sprinkle on remaining sugar/salt seasoning to scallops. Allow to brown for an additional 3-4 minutes.
5. Remove scallops to dish.
6. Add remaining butter and let melt. Add white wine and parsley. stir together until bubbly. Add jar of Alfredo sauce to pan and thoroughly heat until bubbly.
7. Serve scallops over noodles and top with sauce.
