Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (from 8-oz tub)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 Pillsbury® frozen buttermilk or southern style biscuits (from 25-oz bag)
- 2 teaspoons sliced almonds
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 2 (10-oz) custard cups with cooking spray.
In small bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in lemon peel and lemon juice; set aside.
Place frozen biscuits on microwavable plate. Microwave uncovered on High 15 seconds; turn over, and microwave about 10 seconds longer or until biscuits are softened. Cut each biscuit into 6 wedges; divide evenly between cups. Spoon half of cream cheese mixture on top of each biscuit cup. Sprinkle with almonds. Place on cookie sheet with sides.
This recipe can easily be doubled to make 4 servings!
