Slow Cooker Beef Roast

Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 to 3 pounds beef roast, rolled rump or sirloin tip
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- Couple drops of hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp.dry mustard
- 1 or more cloves garlic
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Salt and pepper beef roast; dust with flour. Brown roast in the hot oil on all sides; transfer to crockpot.
To the skillet, add all sauce ingredients and bring to a simmer; pour over beef roast. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour. Cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours longer. Let beef roast stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Use for sandwiches, French dips, or serve with vegetables.
