Ingredients
- 1/4 cup onion
- 2 tbs butter
- 1 can mushrooms stems
- 2 cups celery
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 1 tbs sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbs soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp mushroom liquid
- 1 1/2 cups cut up chicken
- 1 1/2 cups water or chicken broth
- chow mein noodles

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions and mushrooms in butter.
Add water or chicken broth (1 1/2 cups) to mushroom liquid.
Stir into onion, mushrooms.
Add celery, bean sprouts, soy sauce, sugar and salt.
Cook until thickens. Add chicken. Serve over hot chow mein noodles.
