Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 cups peeled and chopped apples
- Icing:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter

Preparation
Step 1
Cake:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix by hand in the order given. Batter will be very stiff. Put in a greased 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Remove from oven and poke with a fork.
Icing:
Mix together in a pot and boil for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and pour slowly over the cake. Bake for 3 more minutes.
