Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- sugar optional
Preparation
Step 1
in a large mixing bowl beat the butter with an electric mixer on med to high speed about 30 sec or till softened
add 1/2 cup sugar to butter and beat till well combined. then add egg yolk and almond extract. beat till thoroughly combined. beat or stir in the flour.
place about 2 teaspoons of dough in the center of each seasoned sandbrakkelse mold . or shap the dough into 1 inch balls using a cookie stamp or bottom of a glass dipped in the additional sugar. flatten balls to 1/4 inch thickness
bake in 375 oven about 8 min.
