Ingredients
- 2 c coarsely ground pretzels
- 1 c and 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1-1/2 sticks margarine
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 large Cool Whip
- 2 pkgs strawberry Jello
- 2 small boxes frozen strawberries - thawed and separated
Preparation
Step 1
Mix pretzels, melted butter and 3 Tbsp sugar. Press into a 9x13" pan. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Cool.
Mix softened cream cheese and remaining sugar, blend in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust.
Dissolve Jello in boiling water, add strawberries.
When slightly jelled, pour over cream cheese filling.
Let stand in refrigerator at least 2-3 hours.
*Can use 4 packages of Equal in the crust and 24 packages in the cream cheese layer, if desired.
