Chocolate Alomond Torte-gluten free

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter cut into small pieces
  • 9 OZ dark chocolate, chopped
  • 6 eggs separated
  • 2/3 c si[erfome sigar
  • 2 oz finely ground almonds or 1/2 c almond meal

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 350 degrees

spray spring form pan with Pam

melt butter and chocolate together, stir until combined

In medium bowl, whisk egg yolks with sugar, until pale and fluffy. Gradually pour melted chocolate into egg mixture, stirring constantly. Fold in almonds. Set aside.

In large bowl using electric mixer set on medium beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.

fold egg whites into chocolate until just combined.

pour misture into prepared pan and bake for 35 minutes.

Torte will be very moist in middle. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely , about 1 hour.
