Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 c. Locatelli cheese 1/3 c. canola or olive oil (for frying)
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 jar tomato sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped 1/2 pound pasta

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together except oil. Form 12 meatballs, about ¼ c. each

In large non stick skillet, heat oil over med. heat. Add meatballs brown on all sides
-8-10 minutes

Remove to a paper towel lined baking sheet


Place sauce in a large pot and bring to a simmer over med. heat. Add meatballs, covered on med. – low heat for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Serve over pasta
