Beef- Vegetable Stir Fry

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 lb. boneless lean beef
  • oil
  • garlic
  • 1 onion cut in 1/4 inch slices
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. pea pods, string beans or broccoli

Step 1

Mix together corn starch, sugar and ginger. Blend in teriyaki sauce and broth.

Cut beef with grain in 1/2 inch slices.

Place wok over high heat. Add 2 tbsp oil. When hot add garlic and beef. Remove. Add 2 tbsp oil. Fry onions, mushrooms and vegetables. Stir fry. Add Meat. Add sauce. Bring to a boil until sauce thickens.
