Vitamix: Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients

• 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream or half and half
• 1 1/2 cups (300 g) granulated sugar
• 6 ounces (177 ml) unsweetened chocolate
• 1 cup (240 g) butter or margarine
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 4 tablespoons (60 ml) orange flavored liqueur

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place the cream, sugar, chocolate, butter, and salt into the Vitamix container and secure lid.

2. Select Variable 1.

3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

4. Blend for 4-6 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from the vented lid. Just before turning machine off, add liquor.
