Wings - Shannon's Recipe

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • Fresh wings cut into drummies and wings
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Large pot boiling water
  • add a 1/4 cup of another seasoning you like
  • 3/4 cup louisiana hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup parmesean
  • 1/2 stick butter

Preparation

Step 1

Add salt and sugar (and optional spice) to the boiling water. Dissolve. Let water cool.
Add the chicken wings. Allow to brine for at least 24 hours.
Remove wings from brine. Pat dry. Arrange on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Wings can be cooled and kept in the fridge until ready for the grill.
Grill until hot and seared.

Sauce:
Melt all ingredients over low heat. Toss or brush the wings with sauce after grilling. Serve hot.
