Ingredients
- Meatballs:
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup quick oatmeal
- 1 cup fine,dry bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- Sauce:
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- dash liquid smoke, if desired

Step 1
Combine meatball ingredients and shape into 1-inch balls. Place in a single layer on cookie sheets lined with waxed paper. Freeze until solid; transfer to freezer bags until ready to cook.
To cook, combine sauce ingredients; stir well. Place frozen meatballs in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish; pour sauce over them. Bake for about 1 hour at 350 degrees. Makes about 6 dozen meatballs.
