Ingredients
- 2.5 up to 4 lbs sirloin tip roast
- 1 c each chopped carrots, potatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- salt and pepper

Step 1
Salt and pepper roast; use other spices if desired.
Place roast in pan (like corning dish with lid, or use aluminum foil to cover pan tight). Cook in 325 degree oven, uncovered 30 minutes. Add 1 c hot water and cover tightly. Cook for an hour or so. Last 30 minutes - add veggies, add hot water if needed.
If doing this in crock pot, you will need to put veggies in first, roast on top and add 1/2 c water (spices, salt, pepper roast). If no veggies, put roast in crock pot - do not add any water. Salt and pepper and add other spices as desired.
