Onion Flat Bread
- INGREDIENTS:•Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 (6.5 oz.) packages Martha White® Pizza Crust Mix
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon Crisco® Pure Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- Salt and pepper
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS:1.SPRAY large cookie sheet with no-stick cooking spray. Melt butter in large skillet. Add onions; cook and stir until tender and translucent but not brown.
2.COMBINE pizza crust mix, water and half of cooked onions in large bowl; stir vigorously with spoon about 20 strokes to form a soft dough. With oiled hands, shape dough into smooth ball. Place dough on prepared cookie sheet; press into a 13 x 10-inch rectangle.
3.SPREAD dough with oil; top with remaining half of onions. Sprinkle with parsley. Add salt and pepper to taste. Let rise in warm place (80 to 85ºF) 30 minutes or until dough has risen slightly. Heat oven to 450ºF while dough is rising.
4.BAKE 17 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm
