  • 1 1/2 C crushed crackers
  • 3/4 C oleo
  • 3 1/2 cups sliced onions
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 C milk scalded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb sharp cheddar cheese grated



Step 1

Make pie crust of crackers and 1/2 cup melted oleo. Press around bottom of sides of a 10-inch pie crust Saute onions in 1/4 C oleo until cooked down, then mix milk, eggs, salt and cheese with onions and pour into pie pan.
Bake at 300 for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.
