Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons water
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 eggs
Preparation
Step 1
Crust:
1. Cut butter into flour; add water
2. Mix well; spread on cookie sheet
Topping:
1. Bring water and butter to a rolling boil
2. Remove from heat; add almond extract and flour
3. Place on low heat; beat vigorously until smooth ball
forms, about 1 minute
4. Remove from heat; beat in eggs one at a time until
smooth
5. Spread over crust
6. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes
