Beef Empanadas

  • Olive Oil
  • 1 onion minced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 T paprika
  • 1 cumin seed
  • 1 t oregano
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped olives
  • 1 T flour
  • 1 pkg of refrigerated pie crusts


Servings 12


Step 1

Cook beef with onion and garlic. Add seasonings and stock with flour and cook until thick. Roll piecrust out and cut into 3 inch rounds. Place a heaping T of beef mixture in center. Fold the dough over the filling, pressing the edges with a fork to seal. Bake for 15 minutes.
