Ingredients
- 2 cups raisins
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Step 1
Boil raisins in water until 1 cup of liquid remains. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Add rest of ingredients, except raisins, and mix well. Add raisins and mix. Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheets and bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
