Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of lettuce
  • 1/3 c. chopped green onion
  • 1 c. thinly sliced celery
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 lb. bacon, cooked well and crumbled
  • 3 tomatoes, cut into quarters

Step 1

The day before serving, layer in a large bowl, lettuce, green onion, celery, water chestnuts and peas. Mix mayo, sugar, parmesan, salt and garlic powder. Spread on top of salad. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Right before serving, garnish with eggs, bacon and tomatoes.
