• 1 cup soft butter
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 2-2 1/2 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. With finger tips, gradually work in 2 cups flour, adding more if necessary adding more to make a soft dough. Gather into a ball, knead lightly. Roll dough out on a floured board to 1/8" thickness. Cut into shapes with cookie cutter. bake 12 - 15 minutes or until tinged around edges a golden color. Let cool on rack.
