Orange and Cream Ice

Ingredients

  • 1/2 t. orange zest
  • 2 c. fresh orange juice
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 T. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 c. 2% milk
  • 4 t. sugar
  • 1/4 t. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir until sugar dissolves. Pour into (11X7 dish. Cover and freeze 45 minutes. Stir with fork every 45 minutes until completely frozen and slushy (about 3 hours)

Combine milk, sugar, and vanilla in small bowl, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cover and freeze 45 minutes. Stir milk mixturre with fork every 30 to 45 minutes until completely frozen and slushy (about 2 hours).

To serve, remove mixtures from freezer; stir each mixture with fork until fluffy. Spoon orange ice into 6 small dishes; top with cream ice.
