CHICKEN CACCIATORE (Pat)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 medium green pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Brown chicken in butter. Add rest of ingredients, except green pepper. cover, cook on low heat for 30 minutes. Add green pepper and cook 15 minutes more. Stir now and then.
