Strawberry Spinach Salad

Great summer time salad, always a hit.

Ingredients

• Dressing:
• 1 bag spinach
• 1 head romaine lettuce
• 1 pint fresh strawberries sliced
• Scallions to taste (small bunch)
• 1/4 to 1/2 c pecan pieces roasted
• 1 container feta cheese crumbled (president brand)
• 1/2 C Sugar
• 1/2 C Olive Oil
• 1/4 C Red wine vinegar
• 1 TBSP poppy seeds
• 1/4-1/2 tsp pepper
• 1/2 tsp Worchestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Add greens to bowl. Place sliced strawberries around outer edge of bowl then place chopped pecans next to strawberries. Place crumble feta in center. Sprinkle scallions over salad. This makes a nice display.

Mix dressing ingredients (I dissolve sigar in vinegar in microwave). Right before you are ready to eat, toss salad and dressing to make wet.
