- 4 slices bacon
- 1 head romaine, cut into strips (6 cups)
- 1 C grape tomatoes, halved
- 4 scallions, sliced
- 4-6 T creamy parmesan dressing or bottled caesar dressing

Step 1
In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp, 6-8 mnutes. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Break into pieces when cool.
In a large bowl, toss the lettuce, tomatoes, scallions and bacon with the dressing
Croutons add extra crunch to this salad. Use store bought or make your own:
Toss bread cut into cubes with olive oil and salt. Bake at 400 on a rimmed baking sheet, tossing once, until golden and crisp - 10-25 minutes
