Ingredients
- 3 lb Sirloin roast
- 2 tbls Brown sugar
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 ts Thyme leaves crushed
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 bottle Dark beer I used Sierra Nevada
- 8 Mushrooms cut in half
- 1/2 ts pepper to taste
- 1/2 ts crushed Rosemary
- 1/4 cup flour
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place beef into a slow cooker.
2. Mix together the brown sugar, thyme, flour. Toss to coat until well blended
3. Pour over meat covering all sides, you will think its too much, but it is not..use it all
4. Stir the soup and beer together and pour over meat
5. Top with the mushrooms, garlic and pepper.
6. Cook on low for 8-9 hours, do not cook on high for a shorter time and do not cook less then 8 hours, or the meat will be dry. This is melt in your mouth beef when cooked right.
7. Serve with mashed potatoes, noodles...you will have plenty of gravy.
