Ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 cups graham wafer crumbs
- 5 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Filling:
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
- 2 packages (3 oz) strawberry jello
- Pinch of salt
- 8 cups sliced fresh strawberries.
- Topping:
- Dream Whip or Whipping Cream

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Mix together Crust ingredients. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 5 – 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
In a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Gradually add water, stirring well. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and goes clear. Remove from heat and stir in jello powder and salt until dissolved. Set aside to thicken more and cool.
Clean and slice fresh berries. Put berries in the bottom of the Graham Cracker Crust. Pour jello mixture over berries. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Top with Dream Whip or Whipping Cream.
Do not make this dessert a day ahead of time….make the day that you’re going to eat it.
