  • 1 c flour
  • 1 c yellow cornmeal
  • 3 T sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 c skim milk
  • 1/4 veg oil
  • 1 large egg


Cooking time 20mins


Step 1

Heat oven to 400, spray 9 inch baking dish.

Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, oil and egg. Pour wet over dry and using fork stir just to combine. Do not over mix. Spread butter in pan and bake 20-25 min or until toothpick comes out clean. Cut into squares andd serve immediately.
