Taco Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Small Onion, chopped
  • 6 green onions with the chives
  • 1 Packet Taco Seasoning Mix (Hot or Mild)
  • 1 Packet Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Dry Mix
  • 1 Can Pinto Beans
  • 1 Can Kidney Beans
  • 1 Can Whole Kernel Corn
  • 1 Can Black Beans
  • 1 Small Can Green Chiles (Hot or Mild)
  • 1 16 oz. can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz. can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Cups Water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown beef and onion. Add Taco Seasoning and stir all together.
2. Dump in the remaining ingredients, including the juice from all of the canned ingredients.
3. Simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
4. Serve with tortilla chips.

OPTIONAL: After filling the bowls with soup, consider adding sliced avocados, crumbled tortilla chips and cheese.
