Ingredients
- 1 lb butter (four squares)
- 2 cups dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tablespoon Vanilla
- 6 cups flour (depending on humidity may need 7 cups)
- 2 cups of chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 4-6 cups of chocolate chips
- Use a good grade of flour
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Beat butter, dark brown sugar, and white sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Whip for 3-4 minutes. Add soda and salt, then flour one cup at a time. Add nuts and chocolate chips.
Cover cookie sheets with wax paper or parchment paper. Place 12 mounds of cookie dough on the cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Do Not Over Bake!
Cool on cookie sheets for 5 minutes before removing.
Do Not Reuse Wax Paper. Use new sheet for each batch.
