BUTTERMILK CHESS PIE Chef Ron Lock

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1-3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Nutmeg

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°. Mix everything together and pour into an unbaked 9″ pie shell.

Sprinkle the top lightly with nutmeg. Bake 15 min. Reduce oven to 350° and bake 45 minutes.

Cool to allow filling to set.
