Ingredients
- 4 oz's semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 c butter
- 3/4 c white sugar (splenda optional)
- 1/2 c cocoa powder
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees
Grease 8" round cake pan, and dust with cocoa powder.
In top of double boiler, over lightly simmering water, melt chocolate and butter. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, and vanilla.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 30 minutes. Let cool 20 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
slices can be reheated 20-30 seconds before serving.
