  • 2 Cups brown sugar
  • 2 Sticks (1 C.) margarine or butter
  • 1/2 C. white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 qts. popped corn

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, margarine, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil. Then cook on low to medium heat and let boil 5 minutes do not stir. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda. Pour immediately over popped corn. Place on cookie sheets or in large pan and place in 200 degree oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool and store in covered containers.
