Ingredients

  • ¾

    Cup grated ginger

  • 2

    Cup sugar

  • Cup water

  • Cup Lemon juice

  • 10

    about 10 lemons

  • 2

    Cup cold water

  • Ice lemon wedges for garnish

  • Mint for garnish

Directions

For the Ginger Simple Syrup: Place all ingredients in a small pot. Place on medium heat and simmer until the sugar dissolves. Off heat, let steep for 15 minutes. Strain and cool completely. For the Ginger Lemonade: In a large pitcher, mix 1 1/2 cups lemon juice, 1 cup ginger simple syrup and 2 cups cold water. Adjust sweetener or lemon juice, if necessary.
