Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. icing sugar
- 2 tbsp. rum
- 2 beaten egg yolks
- 2 beat egg whites
- 1/2 cf. cream
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and add sugar gradually. Slowly add the rum and then the well beaten egg yolks and cream. Cook over hot water (gently boiling), until it is thick as custard. Stir quite often so it does not become scrambled eggs. Pour slowly into beaten stiff egg whites.
DO NOT DOUBLE RECIPE, IT WILL NOT WORK.
