Garlic and Wine Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/8 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • olive oil
  • 4 or 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the flour, white pepper, tarragon, basil and cayenne into a plastic bag. Shake to combine.

Place one chicken breast at a time into the bag and shake to coat.

Heat the olive oil in a large fry pan with a lid.

Saute the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown. Add the garlic at the end of the saute.

Add the wine and chicken broth, stir.

Put the lid on the pan, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook for 15 to 18 minutes.

When the chicken is done, remove from the pan, and reduce the juices slightly. Pour over the chicken and serve.
