GARLIC PITA CHIPS

Ingredients

  • 2 whole wheat pita rounds
  • 4 tsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Cut around the outside of the pita rounds to separate the layers - now have 4 round pieces of pita bread. Combine oil, garlic and sea salt in a small bowl and brush the inside surface of each pita round with oil mixture. Cut each round into 8 wedges and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet, oiled side up. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 32 wedges (4 8-piece servings)
