COOKIES - White Almond Cookies

  • (A)
  • 180 g shortening
  • 90 g icing sugar (reduced to 70g)
  • (B)
  • 150 g toasted almond flakes
  • 140 g corn starch
  • 280 g plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Method:
1. Cream A in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy (3 - 5 mins)
2. Slowly add in B and mix into a dough.
3. Roll out the dough into 1 cm thick. Cut into desired shapes. Place onto a baking tray.
4. Bake at 150*C for 30-35 mins or until cooked. Remove and leave to cool.
