Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups rolled whole oats
- 3/4 cup sesame seed
- 3/4 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup nuts (any kind)
- 1/2 cup oil (your choice)
- 1/2 cup honey (your choice)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped dates
- salt
Preparation
Step 1
1 Mix oats, sesame seeds, wheat germ and nuts in a good sized bowl.
2 In another bowl or large measuring cup,measure oil, add honey, mix and pour over oat mixture.
3 Stir well to blend and coat granola.
4 Spread out evenly on cookie sheet or in baking pan.
5 Bake at 250 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until golden brown.
6 Stir every 15 during baking to prevent scorching.
7 Be careful not to over brown.
8 Stir in dry fruits while mixture is still warm.
9 Let cool and store in airtight container.
