Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups boiling water
- 3 pkgs. (4-serving size) Cherry Jello
- 2 ¾ cups cold water
- 1 can (11 or 15 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 T. sugar
- 1 tub (8 oz.) whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
Step 1
Stir boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate about 1 ¼ hours or until slightly thickened. Reserve a few mandarin oranges for garnish. Gently stir remaining mandarin oranges into gelatin; set aside. Beat cream cheese and sugar in separate bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spoon into 2 ½ qt. serving bowl; cover with gelatin mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Garnish with reserved mandarin oranges.
