Ingredients

  • 3

    pounds of uncooked shrimp

  • 1

    cup of tomato, chopped in cubes

  • 3/4

    cup of chopped onion

  • 1

    bunch of cilantro, chopped

  • juice of about a dozen limes (enough to cover the shrimp)

  • 2

    Tbsp olive oil

  • 2

    Tbsp worcestershire sauce

  • 1

    tsp maggi seasoning (can substitute Bragg's liquid aminos or soy sauce)

  • 1

    Tbsp sweet ketchup or cocktail sauce

  • 1/4

    cup clamato juice or V8

  • salt to taste

Directions

Peel and clean shrimp. Place in colander and rinse with hot water until slightly pink (not entirely cooked!!). Place shrimp in bowl with lime juice and salt. Add the onions and let sit for 15 minutes in the refrigerator. Add the remaining ingredients, mix and let marinate for at least 15 minutes before serving. Serve with nacho chips.
