Ingredients
- 1-3 ounce package strawberry jello
- 1-10 ounce package of strawberries
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pint of whipping cream
- 1 small angel food cake, or 1/2 of a large cake
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare jello as directed on package.
Add strawberries, sugar, and salt.
Cool mixture until it begins to thicken.
Fold into the mixture, the whipped cream.
Cover the bottom of a pan or 9" square glass pan with 1/2 of the angel food cake, torn into bite size pieces.
Add 1/2 of the jello mixture, repeat layers.
Refrigerate 4-5 hours.
