Ingredients
- 1 lb tenderflake lard
- 4 -5 cups flour
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs (add enough milk for 2/3 cups)

Step 1
Cut lard, flour, (only use 4 cups flour and add the 5th gradually if needed), sugar, salt and baking powder until crumbly. Mix eggs and milk totalling 2/3 cup. Pour into dry ingredients. Knead until smooth and a bit sticky. Add more flour if needed. Roll into a pie shape. Fold half pie dough and place on pie plate. Fold over until pie plate is covered. Leave 1/2 inch of pie dough over edge and fold up. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
