- Onion ,sliced 3 large
- Ginger-garlic paste 2 teaspoon
- Tomato,chopped 2 medium
- Green chilli,chopped 2
- Red chilli powder 2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Yogurt 1/4 cup
- Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala 2 each(Green cardamoms and Cinnamon)

Heat white oil in a pressure cooker/kadai. Add Green cardamoms and Cinnamon, onions and sauté till light golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes and continue to sauté till the tomatoes soften. Add green chillies and red chilli powder and sauté till oil begins to separate. Add turmeric powder, prawns and salt. Sauté for two minutes and yogurt. Add garam masala powder and stir. Simmer for two minutes on low heat. Add drained rice and stir lightly. Add two cups of water and bring it to a boil. Cover with lid and cook in kadai/ pressure cook on medium heat till two whistles. Open lid when pressure reduces and serve hot.
