Ingredients

  • Slow Cooker Liner
  • 3 cups 3 cups vegetable juice
  • 2 cups 2 cups hot water
  • 1 pound 1 pound beef for stew, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 8 cups 8 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 medium 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 small 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 1/4 ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons 3 tablespoons beef-flavor instant bouillon
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Step 1

Fit liner snugly against slow cooker

Pour the vegetable juice and water into the lined slow cooker. Add beef, vegetables, ketchup, bouillon and pepper; stir gently. Place lid on cooker

Cook on low for 8- 9 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until beef is tender.
