Ingredients

1 cup (2sticks) butter
1/2 cu sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 1/3 cups all purpose flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter
Gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and almond extract.
Gradually blend in flour
Fill cookie press with 1/4 of dough at a time
Form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 8 to 10 minutes
Remove immediately to wire rack to cool
Makes about 7 doz. cookies
